No matter what role you take on at the Y, you’ll show up each day with the satisfaction of knowing your contributions are helping to empower young people, improve health and well-being, and inspire action in your community.

Common positions include: member services, building & grounds, *lifeguards, *fitness instructors, *personal trainors, wellness staff and *early learning staff.
Applicants must be friendly and outgoing, have an understanding of the mission of the Y, possess excellent people skills, have computer knowledge, and be able to work individually or as part of the team.

LIFEGUARDS
Must have proper certification, but we will train.  Guarding swimmers in our indoor pool. Willingness to teach swim lessons and water fitness.    Daytime, nights and weekends.

EARLY LEARNING TEACHERS
Applicants: enthusiastic, creative, flexible, & warm, with knowledge of DPW/Keystone Stars regulations, as well as classroom experience, preferred but not necessary.  Requirements:  CDA, Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, and/or willing to take classes.

MEMBER SERVICES
Front desk hours run contingent with the facility hours. ( We are open 7 days a week, only closed on major holidays.)  The right person should be friendly and outgoing, have excellent communication skills as wells as computer knowledge.  Understanding of the YMCA mission is preferred but not necessary.
