Youth Soccer
The YMCA’s youth soccer program is open to boys and girls ages 3-12. This is an instructional program that teaches the fundamental skills of soccer and sportsmanship values. The program runs for 8 weeks and will be held at the Westside Field in September  (Starting Sept 2017)
10:00-10:45am Ages 3 & 4
11:00-11:45am Ages 5 & 6
12:00-12:45pm Ages 7 and up

Travel Soccer
The YMCA offers a travel soccer league for children ages 6-14. The teams participate in NEPASAY soccer league. Games are played on Saturdays with times varying, and the teams also practice 2 to 3 times during the week. Registration is held in May with practices beginning in August. The YMCA youth basketball program is open to boys and girls ages 3-12. This is an instructional program that is intended to teach the fundamental skills of basketball and sportsmanship values. Classes meet on Saturdays with practice during the week. Registration will be held late fall.

Baseball and Softball Clinic
The Greater Carbondale YMCA holds a baseball and softball clinic for children ages 6-12. The children work on skills such as batting, and proper way of throwing, catching, running bases, sliding, pitching, and more. The clinic runs for 3 weeks.  Registration held in the spring.

Beginner Ballet
Beginner ballet is for ages 6+. During the class all participants will learn basic ballet skills as well as a routine to a song. All participants need to bring ballet slippers, leotard, and tights to class.
At the end of the 12 week session we will have a recital for the parents.

Tee-Ball
This program is designed to help teach children ages 3-6 the basic skills of baseball. They will work on development of throwing, catching, running the bases, how to get outs, and also batting. The program starts in April and runs for 8 weeks.

Homeschool Gym & Swim**
A little bit of gym and a little bit of swim. Children will get to participate in a gym game and then have an open swim with the slide and mushroom fountain. Classes meet Thursdays from 11:30-1:00pm.

Dodgeball League

Join us on Mondays from 4:00-4:30pm for a half hour of exciting and fun dodgeball. Classes are held for grades 2nd-6th. We play catch-in, paramedic, survivor, prision, and extreme dodgeball games. Classes are currnelty running on an open registration.

Kidz Fitness and Cardio

Sportswalls, Scooter Races, Moonwalks, swimming, and other gym activities.  Classes held on Thursdays from 4:30-5:00pm for grades 2nd-7th.  Next session starts March 2.

Lego Robotics

Create fun and functional LEGO creations and watch them come to life with digital software.  Classes meet Wednesdays from 4-4:45pm for grades 1st-6th.  New class will start on March 1st, 2017.

Lego Robotics 2.0

The 2nd set of LEGO robotics for those who have moved through the entire first session.  New projects and more LEGOs!  Classes meet Wednesdays from 4:45-5:30pm for grades 1st-6th.  New session will begin on March 1st, 2017

Lego U-Build

In this class make whatever you dream up.  We have tubs of LEGOs at your disposal.  Classes meet Tuesday from 4:15-5:00pm for grades 1st-6th.  New classes will begin on February 28th, 2017.

Learn to sew in this fun interactive class.  A $20 supplies fee is required for all participants.  Classes meet Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm, grades 2nd-6th.  New session begins on February 28th, 2017
